3D Tiles:
METAGEO supports several georeferenced 3D formats, for mesh models, the best way to upload a 3D model is using OGC 3D Tiles, these can be exported by most photogrammetry softwares, including: Agisoft, ContextCapture, Pix4D Matic, Reality Capture, Skyline and more.
Using the 3D tiles format export, a .json and several folders/folders are generated. To load it into METAGEO you simply add the .json and the folders together in a .zip (We use 7-ZIP) and upload it to METAGEO.
OBJ:
METAGEO supports .obj files from Pix4Dmapper, but because .obj files do not have georeference we have to add in a file with the origin. Pix4Dmapper outputs this as the offset.xyz and .prj file within the project folder. Once you've located this file, add the .obj, .mtl, .jpg and the offsets.xyz files to a .zip file, and upload to METAGEO.
