The elevation or altitude for my dataset is incorrect.

If your dataset's elevation or altitude is too high or too low, this is likely due to a difference between your selected Coordinate Reference System (CRS). and METAGEO's default CRS.

By default in 2D view, METAGEO will show the WGS84 ellipsoid.

Switching into 3D mode turns on the terrain model, which will likely bring your dataset closer to what you expect.

There may still be some differences based on what CRS your data is in, and the conversion to WGS84, but you can click on the layer in the viewer, select the "Altitude Mode" button and adjust the altitude of the model by clamping it to ground, or adjusting it to a custom altitude manually.

Please note, this will not affect your original file, the upload is preserved and when it's downloaded, it will be in the same coordinate system as uploaded.
