Uploading 360 images

METAGEO can host and visualize 360 images/panoramas that have a GPS coordinate (georeferenced).


Common sources of 360 images are: Insta360 Cameras, drone based panos (multiple photos taken via drone, and stitched on the drone/device, or post processed with Microsoft ICE or PTGUI.



Uploading 


To upload 360 images::


  • Create or select a project and folder on the layer panel, which is located on the left hand side.
  • Click the tricolon action button and select upload, or click the + button and select "Upload to current folder"
  • Click on the upload box, or drag and drop the file into the box
  • The image will process, and then place an icon on the map which you can click on to view
