There are a few different ways that you can share your projects on METAGEO.

1. Share with your invited team members, and set up permissions for different users.

2. Create a read-only share link.

Both methods require that you set up a team.

Creating a Team

  • Click on the Create Team button on the top bar (after naming your team, it will be what you named it during creation)

  • Fill in your team information and click on the save button.

Inviting Team Members

  • Click on the "Add User" button on the team page to invite new users to your team / organization. You user type will determine how many invites that you have. Once you invite a user, they must accept the invite before they show up on the list.

Sharing Projects

  • There are two ways to share projects with other team members, using the Team Sharing Menu, or Sharing from Layer Panel.

Team Sharing Menu

  • Click on the "Team Sharing" button under the Team dropdown to get a list of all projects, where you can specifically add users on your team.

Sharing from Layer Panel (Left Menu)

  • If you would like the share the project from the Layers panel (left menu), click on the project action ⁝ button, and click "share" button.

You can share either via link, or click share with team

  • You can select to add a new link, set a date for the link to expire, and then set the layer you want to have the link zoom in on when it is loaded.
  • Please note:
  • Your show/hide settings will be used in the link, for example if you have several vectors and a raster marked as visible, but a 3D model marked as hidden, this will transfer through to the link.
  • When a project is shared, all folders/files within it are shared as well.
